Privacy Policy - Reflex Trap

Reflex Trap ("the app," "we," "us") is a reaction-time game developed by Tornbuilt. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We've tried to write this in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Information We Collect

Reflex Trap itself does not ask you to create an account, and does not collect your name, email address, or other direct personal information. The data described below is collected by the third-party services the app uses, listed in the next section.

• Gameplay data — your scores, achievement progress, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device. This data is not sent to us or to any server we control.
• Usage and diagnostic data — general information about how the app is used (screens viewed, features used, session length) and technical data if the app crashes or encounters an error (device model, OS version, and the error details), collected via the third-party services below.
• Advertising identifiers — if you're shown ads, the ad provider may use your device's advertising ID to select and measure ads, as described below.
• Play Games account data — if you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, we use your Play Games display name and profile photo to identify you on our leaderboards (see below). Achievement progress in this app is stored only on your device and is not synced to or stored by Google.
• Leaderboard data — your display name, profile photo (both from Play Games, if signed in), and your best score are stored in our database (Firebase Firestore) so other players can see how they rank against you. This is linked to your Google Play Games account (via a Firebase identity tied to that account) — not to a temporary or anonymous identifier — so your leaderboard entry stays consistent even if you reinstall the app or clear its data.
• Purchase data — if you buy the Remove Ads upgrade, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We don't see or store your payment details; we only receive confirmation that the purchase was made, so we can unlock the feature.

Third-Party Services We Use

These services may collect and process data as described in their own privacy policies, linked below:

• Google AdMob — displays ads and measures ad performance. May use advertising identifiers and general location (such as country) for ad selection. Google Privacy Policy
• Firebase Analytics — provides us with aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (e.g. how many players complete a level, how long sessions last) so we can improve the app. Google Privacy Policy
• Sentry — collects crash and error reports (device info, OS version, and technical error details) so we can identify and fix bugs. Sentry Privacy Policy
• Google Play Games Services — powers sign-in and achievements if you choose to use them. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Firebase (Firestore) — stores leaderboard display names and scores, tied to an anonymous per-install identifier, not your personal Google account. Google Privacy Policy

Advertising & Your Choices

Reflex Trap is free to play and supported by ads served through Google AdMob, unless you've purchased the Remove Ads upgrade. Depending on your region, you may be asked to make choices about ad personalization the first time you open the app, in line with applicable law (such as GDPR in the EEA/UK). You can also manage ad personalization at any time in your device's system settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads), and revisit your choice from within the app's Settings screen.

Children's Privacy

Reflex Trap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below and we'll address it.

Data Retention & Deletion

Local gameplay data stays on your device until you clear it yourself (Settings → Reset Progress / Delete My Data, or by uninstalling the app). Data held by the third-party services above is retained according to their own policies. If you'd like help removing data associated with your Google Play Games account, you can manage this directly through your Google Account, or contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data collected about you (for example under GDPR or CCPA). Since most data described here is collected and controlled by Google's and Sentry's own services rather than by us directly, the fastest way to exercise these rights is usually through those services' own privacy controls. Security

We rely on the security practices of the third-party services listed above for any data they process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we don't independently store sensitive personal data on our own servers, which limits our own exposure and yours.
